Clouded orangey body, good head formation. Strong malty, dark fruits, prune aroma. Smooth caramel palate, some burnt fruitcake flavor, toasted sweet raisiny finish. Couldnt decide on this one, but it does mellow very well in the aftertaste.

Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2006
Light tinny aroma with nice malty sweetness. Has a bit of corn sweetness though I doubt its corn. Hoppy notes though somewhat papery. Medium amber gold clear with a slight haze. Off-white foamy rocky lacing head. Medium light body with medium carbonation. Starts with some mild sweetness and good maltiness. Theres a bit of vegetable sweetness and maybe buttery diacetyl. Metallic and tangy bitter finish. Dusty stale hops flavor with malty nutty after. Drinkable with decent sweet balance, but nothing too remarkab

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt -hay, straw-, average hops -flowers, grass-, average yeast -horse blanket, earth- with notes of grape and apple. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

RSRIZZO (1984) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - DEC 21, 2008
Color is a bright gold with very good carbonation and a big tight white head. Aroma is sweet with a grain scent. Taste is light and crisp. Starting with a light medium body it goes down crisp. Finish has a watery vanilla ice cream like taste with a malty caramel flavor and then a little bitterness. After taste is clean with a bitter Germen hop taste. This is a decent Vienna but a bit weak for a winter brew.

[bottle] Honey aroma with some dried apricot, though weak. Clear, bright yellow-orange with white wisps. Spicy and melanoidiny flavour with detectable hops and a gentle bitterness. Nutty finish. Not bad, but kind of boring. Medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter and nutty finish.

Bottle, Oslo Beer Festival. Light, some malt, a hint of alcohol. Lightweights. A little yeasty palate. OK, but not very impressed.
