troopie (2341) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Bottle. Poured red brown with creamy white head. Aroma is malty caramel, with hay notes. Flavour is somewhat thin considering the type of beer and the aroma. Thin finish with some unpleasant metal.

Marstonlad (885) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 31, 2013
Pours reddish copper with a head that disappears quickly. Malty aroma is pretty mild; flavours of hay, bread and some herbs. Taste is crisp with solid clean malty flavours featuring most. Only a little herbal notes in the finish. Overall somewhat dry, light to medium bodied, slick palate. Very drinkable, clean German beer - no mistakes but no variance either.

Copper color with 1 finger white head. Aroma of malt , toast. Taste is light sweet and quite drinkable. Light body, watery texture, soft to average carbonation. Not bad but I was expecting more.

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours dark amber colored with flat, soapy head. Smell has lots of dark malts and some dark red fruits. Some licorice in the background. Starts with dark roasted malts and some caramel, paired with tart red fruits. Middle part has some fruity hoppiness, again paired with lots of dark malts. Finish is malty-bitter, very dry, slight fruity-tart.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Taste of mild hops, grains, caramel, honey, hay and flowers. Easy to drink yet not that nice like expected or hoped. Okay.
