500ml bottle, I wasn’t sure of the style but apparently it is a marzen. Nice dark orange-golden color. It has a very nice aroma of wheat bread and honey, very cool. The flavor is very bready with again, a hint of honey. This is very easy to drink and will motivate me to pick up more beers from this brewery and German beers in general.

500 ML Bottle in Germany. Deep Amber color, with a full orange off white head. Wonderful complex aroma, with earthy grass and hints of spicy herbs. Taste is very well done and perfect for winter foods in Germany. Nice mix of hops and sweet flavors. Palate is full but not overpowering. A really good beer. A great Vienna by any standard! Bottle. Lovely amber color. Rich, malty aroma that is spicy as well. Fruity flavor with caramel, cherry and other fruits, biscuits and bread. Fabulously complex malts. Very nice stuff. massingasetta (789) - München, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2016
When it comes to Winter- or Festbiere one can search a lot to find one that combines strength and a good taste. This beer is a good balance of a hardy but tasty beer. omhper (25955) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 5, 2002
Dark golden. Full bodied, rather sweet, big maltiness, and nice late bitterness.
A well balanced and rather powerful winterbeer, that feels bigger than it's 5.2%.

I really like this beer. When compared to its own type of beer, its getting an 86% rating in its category, that says enough. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy deep copper with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of heavy Wheaties dipped in almond, with some toffee and mild spicy hop notes. The palate was medium heft, with flavors of grainy malty Wheaties, some caramelly toffee-like hints, and mild fruit and hop notes. Gets a bit more tart and hoppy as it warms. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2007
Clear, deep amber appearance with a large, off white head and modest lacing. Sweet, bready, caramel malt aroma. Rich, roasted malt taste with low keyed hoppiness, bittersweet chocolate and toffee. Turns a little bit more bitter, along with a hint of sourness, in the aftertaste. Smooth, medium-to-full bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel. Lingering, long lasting finish. daddyslick (36) - Arizona, USA - JUN 14, 2008
This beer pours a very clear copper color. It smells faintly like caramel. It is slightly sweet to taste, which quickly turns into a slight bitterness then leaves the mouth cleanly. No after-taste. It is very drinkable. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - JAN 17, 2009
500ml bottle. Clear, deep amber with a fizzy off white head. Scads of carbonation bubbles. Lots of sweet caramel in the nose, light grain and mild grass. Sweet caramel flavor with a mild grassy bite. A light spiciness is behind all that. Medium body, just a touch syrupy considering the lively carbonation. A really nice drinker.
