Cask - Masque Haunt (JDW), Old Street, London. A dark brown beer with a lasting, creamy beige head that left a uniform lacing. Roasted malts, some smoke and dry red fruit aromas. Dark chocolate and roasted malt on the tongue with a bit of lapsang souchong. Quite a dry finish with a lingering bittersweetness. Medium body profile & a soft palate texture.
