A Mes rate. Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 19, 2011
Almost black mahogany body with a good lasting beige head. Aroma is good. Black malt, some chocolate, light sweetness and some faint red wine notes. The flavour is not quite so good. A little too bready with not enough of the character of the aroma showing through. Decent dark chocolate and slightly smoky finish brings it back on track though. Not bad overall and certainly one of the better Weltons brews.

GBBF. Cask. Clear brown beer. Dry palate. Ok brown malts. Reasonable well balanced with some tangy fruits. Quite a bitter aftertaste. Ok.
Pint from the Ale House Reading. Deep reddish chestnut colour with an off white head, aroma of malt with some chocolate, similar taste. Pleasant.
