Hazy, golden coloured. Fruity, yeasty nose. Sweet flavour with a little bit of acidity. Soft fruity finish. ganache (6050) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Bottle by 25.02.13. Big spicy nose, lemon and light vanilla in with really big clove. Hazy golden with a dense, creamy white head. Taste is lightly sweet, major contributions from the yeast, especially with phenols and mineral character, and some wheat. Bright and punchy, medium-full body medium-crisp. Fresh, clean. 0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy yellow color. Aromas of tart fruit, banana and clove. Clovey and tart flavor with some banana and lemon. Medium body, not as filling as some weizens, which is a good thing. Well made drinkable weizen. jgb9348 (6474) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Very hazy golden coloured body with a dense pure white head that tops the beer perfectly. Aroma of wheat, yeast, coriander seed, corn, bananas, caster sugar and a touch of lemons - very nice. Medium-bodied; Great fresh wheat and yeast tastes that really show through with a dose of spice, some bubble gum and a bit more sweetness. Aftertaste shows pretty much only yeast and wheat - but a touch of coriander seed freshness comes through nicely. Overall, a great german unfiltered wheat - simply true to the style and one I wish I could get over here much more often! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Ambrosetti in Berlin, Germany for around €1 on 30-December-2010 sampled on this side of the pond after a hot day in Washington on 10-July-2011. crossovert (13833) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2011
500ml bottle. Minestens haltbar bis 25.04.12.
It pours a hazy gold with a bright white head that quickly dissipates with no lacing.
The smell is fruity with a hint of bubblegum and clove. There is also almost a tire scent which is weird.
The flavor is decently sweet and fruity, initially there is a blast of bubblegum, then it bursts into lemony clove with some wheat.
The flavor isn’t too bad but the rest of the components of this beer are a bit average or lacking.
