Bottled version. Good mid brown with a good thick bottle conditioned head, lasts well leaving good lacework. Medium to full bodied, malt to the fore, well hopped with good fruit on the long finish. Good brew!

Cask conditioned at The Flowerpots, Derby. Gold to amber with slight white head. Dry, standard thinnish bitter, some flowery hop, seemingly aimed at a session type ale but without the freshness of flavour to carry it off. Just average unfortunately.

Bottle at Chris O’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Slightly hazy amber color. Fruity marmelade with nutty-biscuity maltiness as well as some salty notes. Easygoing bitter.
