Cask at Kingston Arms, Cambridge. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is milk chocolate, caramel, fudge and faint vegetal notes. The taste is tangy, earth, chocolate, plenty of fiery chilli....vegetal and dark fruits with a lingering spicy finish. Medium body and light carbonation. Delivers a satisfying deep burn.... Does what it says on the tin, but perhaps with more heat. Fun to try, but drinking a half was challenging! robbgg (36) - Derbyshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2013
Rich chocolate aroma and initial taste followed by long hot chilli burn. Good if you can handle it. deanso (10219) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 21, 2012
On tap at the Kelham Island, Sheffield.
Thick creamy off white head. Clear black pour. Chocolate to start and then overwhelming chilli taste. Too spicy for me. I had to swap beers with a friend. Nice try, just too hot ManVsBeer (10927) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2012
Has a deep chocolate aroma which totally hides the heavy spicy aftertaste that burns the palate. mike_77 (7014) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - AUG 31, 2012
Aroma of dark chocolate, Baileys, Tia Maria. Chocolate and cocoa linger around before the chilli kicks in. The balance is slightly out with an uncomfortable tart burn in the finish.

Cask conditioned handpump Veritas Leeds 05/07/12. Wentworth are a giggle aren’t they? They have three versions of chilli and chocolate stout, and now produce a chocolate and chilli stout. This is black with a whitish head. Prpoer chilli heat throughout but it’s a really nice burn. The chocolate is there too and balances nicely. Does what it sets out to do without overkill on either the choc or chilli flavours. I liked it.
