Bottle at chris_o’s ok still missing the rochefort tasting. Alround rating: Yeasty beast, pale malts, honey sweetness. Not really doing much for me. SilkTork (5946) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2008
Chris_o’s GBBF Shindig 08. Smells of old glue. A strange bitter fruit tasting beer. Toffee. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2008

Dark gold with a thin white head. Spicy and buttery. Dull caramel malt but thankfully the diacetyl is just about kept in line. Sweet alcohol notes are pleasant enough. Standard stuff.
Red tinged amber pint, nice looking. Smell is pretty alcoholic, sweet and malty. Taste is malt, banana, distinct warming alcohol finish, almost as much alcohol taste as a strong belgian type ale.
Nice flavours, decent ale. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 6, 2008
Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectary and wooden with some slight oxidized and vanillaish notes. Flavour i raisins, fruits, vanilla and fruits. Ends in vanilla and fruits along with some bittering wood.

Clear amber with medium white head. Sweet aroma with fruity and oxydized notes. Sweet flavor with oxydized and caramel notes. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2007
Bottle. Clear amber with a big creamy beige head. Citrus and caramel aroma. Caramel flavours matched by good citrussy hoppiness. Medium body. Very good. harrisoni (19754) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2007
Cask gravity at Kingston BF 2007. Not on when I arrived, so not sure of its condition. Slight haze to an orange/copper colour. Blue cheese, malt, hop aroma. This is bizarre. Slightly buttery, but it’s got this great condition and then a burst of English hops. Will develop and possibly be amazing. Slight mature cheddar tang. A dark, reddish orange coloured beer with a frothy white head. A malty nose, caramel and a banana-like fruitiness. A bittersweet taste, a dry malty flavour is followed by a sweet caramel taste, toffee apple, then banana again. A smooth, not too sweet finish. (Cask - The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club, King’s Lynn, Norfolk). shoestring (440) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - MAY 31, 2007
Bottled - Hollies Hotal , Blackpool. Yes very nice. Very cloudy in my glass, mirky orange with sticky head. Smokiness comes through and very drinkable despite strength.
