Flavor: bitter, some acidity, yummy, some sweetness.
Palate: pretty light, full-bodied, feels sticky. DeepBlack (386) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2006
Bottle from the old indoor market in Derby. Not bottle conditioned. Bit fizzy. Pale brown incolour. Quite quaffable for the 6.2% strength, mind you I had just finished a bit of a tough day at work, so that helped it slid down nicely. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2006
Beautiful dark golden colour with a big, frothy head. Malty aroma and a full-bodied sweet caramel taste with some alcohol preceding a long bitter finish. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2006

Tasted 04/03/2006. 500ml bottle from Rumble’s, Wellington.
Vibrant pure gold liquid with a diminishing white head and medium lacing. Pale malt aroma and a hint of pollen-like hops, on the first nose, becomes lost amongst a volatile concoction of brown sugar, honey, phenols and a slightly musty yeastiness. Very dry flavour has little sweetness up front before a sharp, nondescript, bitterness and gluey, astringent, finish kick in. Light-medium weight, low carbonation, phenolic tingle. Pretty unpleasant. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2006
Sampled at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg.
Amber colour. Malty, almondy nose. Bit sticky sweet and unbalanced in flavour with loads of flavouring hops that are way too much given the abv. Extreme bitterness. Apart from this, pretty much an average ESB. Alcohol shows off little. Little caramelly with notes of butterscotch, yet no diacetyl. anders37 (28075) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2006

Light nose, orange color, fluffy head. Cookie, doughy malt body with a hint of apricot. Broad bitter, stinging sharp end. Medium body. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 5, 2006
Thanks Chris_O! Bottle: Light orange color, small fizzy head, fizzy carbonation also. Sweet honey and caramel, slightly bandaid nose. Intense bitterness - flowers and hay - long lasting. Long dry finish. Balanced Brew!
