Straight down the middle, malts are crisp and clean. hops are grassy and slightly herbal. try it for kicks.

A gift from the 1st cincy gathering. Mine was a brown bottle. Golden color and nice head, but...Smells like moss taste like grass with a moldy finish, maybe I had a bad bottle? But everyone else seems to agree.

Pours a pale golden color...A bit of citrus and wheat. A very basic pilsner. Nothing spectacular.

TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 31, 2007
Slightly skunky and grassy aroma. Pours a golden yellow, white head, carbonated. Mostly a cornish flavour that I found off-putting. Lacks the crisp pils finish. Not a good pils.

Pale hay yellow body, moderate white head. Smells faintly spicy and minerally. Tastes kind of grassy, understated hop bitterness, unpredictable "yeasty" character. Very light bodied, though not in a bad way. I didn’t like this at first, but it’s grown on me. A reasonably decent North German pilsner.

Courtesy of Nick76. The aroma is sweet malt and fresh hay. The body is a a pale yellow/gold that looks like honey when held up to the light and backlit. The head is a finger thick, fairly lasting and white. Hay, malts, honey and grass make up the most noticeable flavor components. Very crisp with a mild bite on the tongue. Light bodied, as per the style with bit of wateryness in the finish.

TBone (17545) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2007
Bottled as "Wernesgrüner Pils Legende" (BB 12/2007)
Pale yellow color, big cloudy white head. Grassy, hayish hoppy nose, hints of cardboard. Sharp cut grass hoppy flavor, slightly buttery. Good bitterness in the aftertaste. Could use more malts.

garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUL 23, 2007
Fairly standard beer, nothing special, nothing I will remember as unique, pours light yellow with a good large head, slightly hoppy. Very inoffensive, good BBQ beer.
