Shared with Phil_l. Man this is bad. Phil_l caught a trout in a pond and we ate it and it was lovely. This was refreshing I suppose was the best I can say. Pukey, lager malt aroma, some hop. Tis awful though.

Oakes (19409) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 5, 2001
Dry, hoppy, lean - quality North German pils, which evidently is not every Ratebeer guy's cup of tea, but for those of you who do appreciate a well-made pils, this is one to seek out.

Bottled as "Wernesgrüner Pils Legende" (BB 12/2007)
Pale yellow color, big cloudy white head. Grassy, hayish hoppy nose, hints of cardboard. Sharp cut grass hoppy flavor, slightly buttery. Good bitterness in the aftertaste. Could use more malts.

500ml bottle (Kaufland, Olpe)
Weetabixy aroma, like an LA, to be honest, but the kind of LA that I quite like. Paleish, brief head. Watery palate. Harsh bitter extracty hops. Simple sweetish malts. Finish chemical and harsh. Pretty crappy macro lager, at least it has some hops, but then again, they’re too extracty.

yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 17, 2010
Bottle. It’s a clear, pale golden beer topped by a white head. Dms, some fruits, and spent grains in the aroma. Pale malts and fruity hops in the mouth, medium full and nicely carbonated. The finish is grainy, with some bitterness and a metallic hint. Easy to drink if you down it without thinking. Else it’s a rather poor one. 091120
