Comments: An excellently balanced, pretty juicy, aromatic cider with solid apple flavours that are complexified by lots of farmy character.
Cask, Burton Fest 07. Yellow orange and bright. Aromas are earthy sweet apple with sticky caramel followed by vinegar sourness. Flavours are sweet apple that is almost malty. Dry, earthy and sour with ripe sweetnes. Complez and very good. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2007
Jugged At The Harp, Covent Garden, London. Cloudy orange pour, wee little frothy head. Surprising funky, acidic aroma - at first I thought it was a lambic with some apple added, but it settled down to tart overripe apple, moderate alcohol, even sweet and slightly "off" white wine. Taste was incredibly smooth, this seemed like it had just come out of the press, tart fresh apple, a hint of lemon juice, alcohol - it was exactly like cask cider, if there is such a thing - anyway, it was fresh and complex and nicely sour. The body was a tad light, but the feel on the tongue was exquisite, no carbonation to speak of, but nice and sour and refreshing - man this was good. Polypin at GBBF 07. Cloudy bright yellow. Strong sherry aroma with some sweet appley dry tones. Mouth is strong on the tannins, fruity, zesty, refreshing. Finishes tannin and sharp. harrisoni (18437) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2007
Bag in a box at Kent BF 07. Orange/gold cloudy, no head. Cheesy apple aroma. Really a very fine cider, good fleshy apple juice. Ridiculously refreshing, dry, but not overpowering. One of the better ciders. Lots of fruit and character. Superb. I was there at Reading this year when it won Champion Cider of the Year.

Bag in a box at Kent Beer Festival. Lovely cloudy orange appearance. Quite funky and pooey in the aroma. Flavour is superb. Lovely and sour. Maybe not quite dry enough for me but there are plenty of juicy and puckery apples. Excellent woody character too. Dry finish with just a kick of lip smacking sweetness. Very interesting. Excellent mouth feel. Damn good cider. cgarvieuk (24236) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 15, 2007
Edinburgh beer festical 2007 ... Hazy yellow ... sharp cider nose ... zingy fruity apples juice with a typical cider sharpness... little drying. FatPhil (15975) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 14, 2007
Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2007).
Sour smell, but very fruity. Full fruity taste, quite dry, but not at all sour - very drinkable. Tranquillity (2253) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2007
Cask @ Real Ale Festival, Gallows Bird, Espoo. Aroma of red, wheat-like apples. Looks like normal pale cider. A bit sour, nice taste. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2007
Aroma was super apple, everything from golden delicious to ripe toffee apples. Taste was similar super drinkable also.
