On Draft at the brewery with TheDude. Brown pour with almost no semblance of a head. Tons of chemicals, alcohol, and weird yeast in the aroma. Smells strongly of bad fruit. Flavor is sweet, cloyingly so, with odd yeast notes. Thin bodied, watery texture, tons of alcohol in the finish. Draft. Murky brown with a quickly-dying off-white head. Yeast, metal and paint aroma on top of higher alcohols / fusels and rotting dark fruit (plum, cherries, apples). Potato starch texture with a strongly sweet and acidity yeasty off-brand cola flavor. Alcoholic and dirty and wort-like with lingering bacteria, yeast sludge and rotting apples and pear fruitiness. On tap @ West Flanders. Hazed copper/mahogany pour with a big khaki head. Sweet caramel and dark fruit aroma. Toast, some metal, and a hint of bubblegum. Light banana. Light tartness as well. On tap at West Flanders. Pour is hazy brown with a big cream head and good lacing. Bready, dark fruits, yeasty, somewhat doughy, licorice, and toffee in the aroma. Taste is dark fruits, red licorice, somewhat spicy, bready, yeasty, and doughy with a touch of clove on the backend. Full mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Ok.

At West Flanders. Pours a dark brown with a finger of tan head. On the darker side of dubbels. Settles in minutes with minimal lacing. Aroma is caramel, malty, sweet, hints of dark fruits. Malty up front, mild roast, carsmel, toffee, flavor lets up a bit in the finish, fruity, rum fruit, hint of chocolate, mild alcohol. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and mildly crisp texture. Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with thin slightly off white head, aroma brought notes of toffee, caramel, slight DMS, hints of earth, slight spice notes, hints of grass as well. Tap @ West Flanders Boulder. Pours a copper/orangish appearance with basically no head. Funky, goopy sugary, slight caramel, light banana aroma. Clumsy, chewy sugary, orange fruity, slightly toasty malty flavor with some booze. My least favorite at this place.
