Draught @ Bert’s Bar. Pours a cloudy golden with not much head. The nose has a light lemon tang. The taste has tangy banana and pineapple. The palate is actually thin bodied and textured and very clean. This is ok, but it doesn’t have much of what I love about Hefeweisen. The appearance is underwhelming when Hefe is usually one of the most excellent appearances that can be found in beer and the nose is very light and there’s no creamy rich body. Will have to re-taste again in case it wa a bad pint of it but not excited about it this time. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Keg at the Euston Tap, London. Pours cloudy gold with a medium, white head. Yeasty and malty nose. Mild sweet flavor, some sugars and light bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Some dry yeast in the finish. Not bad. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 17, 2011
Keg at The Guildford Arms. A cloudy, golden straw colour with a decent white head. Banana, clove and wheat aroma. Flavours of banana, clove and wheat again with a peppery finish. Quite smooth with a little CO2 prickle. Lemony linger. Not bad although tough to drink a full pint of this! Not really for me. imdownthepub (14556) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2011
Keg at The Guildford Arms, Edinburgh with cgarvieuk. Murky thick orange, white head. Overdone Hefeweizen, overfull of banana, cloves and cinamon flavours, heavily herby/spicy. Not great. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - MAY 14, 2011

[keg at WEST Glasgow] Opaque yellowish orange pour, decent white head. Cold from the keg, but once it warms you get decent aromas of banana and some spice. I was comparing this to Stewart Brewing’s new hefe which I also tried recently, and I think this one is smoother on the palate and has a touch more bitterness in the finish. Good clove hit on the end to balance all the sweet yeasty fruit. Drinkable stuff – I didn’t think it was as sweet as other people have suggested, but maybe that was due to the low serving temperature JohnRMurdoch (4878) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - FEB 23, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2013 Keg @ West Brewing Co. Spicy banana bread aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Sweet spicy banana & clove flavour. Sweet aftertaste. Light & refreshing. Better than last time I tried it. Tried again tonight on visit tio BrewPub. Really gone downhill since last sampled 2 years ago. Now a below average hefe. flying_pig (1572) - SCOTLAND - JAN 25, 2011
On-Tap (Pint): Has a strong coriander & orange smell. I also detected traces of banana which was quite pleasant. A hazy orangey yellow colour with a thumb sized head that settled slightly but lasted the duration. A fruity orange & coriander taste that went down well & is followed by a fruity/citrus like aftertaste that lingers slightly. A silky smooth, light bodied beer that had a nice tang & went down easily. An excellent beer that has a great, fruity flavour that really opens the taste buds. The beer goes down great. - - - Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 3, 2010
Keg, Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Cloudy tan. The aroma is sweetish, with banana notes. Candy banana in the front, getting fizzier and just slightly drier as it goes. An ok hefeweizen, probably a bit too sweet for me. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2009
