COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stunning in color, the West Sixth Amber (also known at the Deliberation Amber in our taproom) is perhaps our most beautiful looking beer. Yeast and hops take the backseat as malt shines with a crisp, biscuity zing. Flaked rye gives the impression of toasted rye toast and candied pecans. Sitting at a very sessionable strength, the West Sixth Amber is perfect for when you want more than one.

The West Sixth Amber is our second beer in a can, and we really think it is delicious.

We hope you enjoy it let us know below what you think!

Malts: 2 row, Cara, Melanoidin, Victory, Flaked Rye, Dextrin
Hops: Cascade, Palisade
Yeast: House Ale

Can from Js. Pours a clear light amber with a 2 finger head that lingers. Caramel and malt forward nose with some fresh bread aromas. Clean and light on the palate. Easy drinking, not overly filling. Well executed, but a little light on flavor.

kramer (6609) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2016
Can. Pours a clear dark amber body with a small fizzy beige head that left a bit of sticky lace. The nose is husky and grainy malt witn a bit of caramel and bready malt. The flavor is much the same, overly husky and on the sweeter side with just a minimal bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering husky finish.

12 oz. can. Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Smells of bready malts, some caramel, and some floral and fruity notes. Tastes fruity and floral up front. Sweet bready malt backbone and some light bitterness and toasty malts in the finish. Medium body. Drinkable. Just not an exciting beer.

Can thanks to NeoHippie2. Cloudy reddish dark amber with very small frothy beige head, faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, bitterish malty taste with honey flavor, abrupt finish. Decent but not memorable.

12 ounce cqn thanks to phaleslu. The beer is a cleqr amber with a beige head of foam. It dissipates quickly down to just a thin layer atop the beer. The aroma has some tree bark and mild toffee and bready notes. Medium sweetnss in the taste with an undertone of bitterness. This beer reminds me of freshly baked bread, the more I drink it. Medium body and medium carbonation. Solid.
