Draft at Covimgton’s Wunderbar. Like the Wunderbar, this beer exceeds expectations. At 7 pct it is a bit heavy but otherwise it is a great IPA in the category of being hopped for balance and flavor vs hopped for burning your mouth

Purchased at the Party Source in Bellvue KY. West Sixth IPA is a hazy apple juice amber hued brew with a firm head of tiny off white bubbles. Nose is strong with crisp floral and evergreen hops. Taste is initially tangy with a good amount of evergreen and just a touch of citrus hops. a good malt body present below the initial hop hit. body is moderately lively and silky. a good IPA.

Can pour into a pint glass. Pours a hazy copper with a big white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma has lemon and orange zest, flower petals, and dried grass. The taste is fruity and bitter. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Can in Lexington, KY. Nice hop and malt balance. Very smooth for a 7% IPA. Tastes of hops, citrus, and pine. Solid beer. Would have again.

chinchill (5024) - South Carolina, USA - APR 14, 2014
West Sixth IPA on tap at the brewpub in Lexington. Medium amber; very slight haze; durable off-white head; very good lacing. Nicely crafted IPA, with enough malt load to keep the ample quadruple hop load from producing too much bitterness. Liked this more as I drank more -- a quality many IPAs lack. Smooth, medium body with well-chosen carbonation.

Draft. Copper with medium white head. Aroma of resinous hops and light caramel. Medium body with pine hops upfront balanced by some malt sweetness and a bitter finish.

Pale yellow with a light very light pine aroma. Mild IPA draught with a minimum hop taste for an IPA. Excellent if you want more than one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy
