The cocoa is there in the aroma but it doesnt follow through. Tastes a little 'muddy', probably burnt malt. Disappointing. thomashall (1602) - New Hope, Minnesota, USA - FEB 6, 2018
From notes, tasted at Great American Beer Festival 2017. Will add more notes if I get to try this again. Good stuff. Salian (191) - Sale, Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2017 Woody and smokey, this is a deep brown ale, with a tan head and an earthy aroma. Bitter cocoa and coffee, molasses and slight cinnamon flavours. Dry, bitter finish, too astringent for me. berkshirejohn (6825) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2017
12oz can from Beer52. A glossy peaty brown colour with a tight caramel coloured head; aroma of caramel and chocoalte; light herbal bitterness to start, then a sweet chocolate body; before a smooth dry woody finish with some chocolate notes. A stasifying porter. Mr_Pink_152 (5931) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2017
Tried in a Can From Beer52. Cola black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has roasted malts and moderate chocolate. Taste roasted bitter, with a light toffee. Full to rich body.

Great dry porter with proper cacao, milk chocolate and vanilla notes. Balanced, easy drinking and smooth. Good example of the style Cokemonkey11 (1150) - - NOV 13, 2017
Can. Dark dark brown with a soft, velvet tan head. Scent is medium dense cocoa, soft ethanol, and medium notes of bourbon barrel. Taste is soft, medium bodied, relatively mild, mature porter with some sharp, almost lemon peel sour notes. Finish is slightly salty. Very good. Natural. rob19a (568) - - NOV 12, 2017
