Sample at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellowish color with a thin and wispy off-white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of wheat. Thin-bodied with a fruity character and flavors of mild wheat and spices. The finish is wheat and banana and does not have much of an aftertaste. Slightly below average overall. Enjoyed on-tap at the Morgantown brewpub, this is an American wheat and not a hefeweizen. 5.4% abv. A wheaty fruty aroma. Grapefruit coloured with near zero head. Its sourness malted down for drinkability. It has above average carbonation, and some odd water as if warning me the water is safe to drink but not tasty. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2003
My 800th rating! Go me!...
Murky pear juice color. Quickly diminishing white head.
The nose is of yeast, clove and lemon.
Well-balanced flavor. Spicy, but too thin.
Light-bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation.
Short, crisp, clean finish. dolemike1 (1288) - Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 29, 2002
Light fruity aroma, nice cloudy color, fair citrus and banana flavor. Refreshing. I'd drink it again, yep.
