COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For our remix of Stillwater’s Cellar Door, we wanted to expand on the cleansing aspect of the white sage used in the original beer, so we added a number of herbs and spices known for their therapeutic properties. Brett Brux is added at bottling for a funky complexity that will develop over time.

Interesting. Supposedly a remix of the Stillwater Cellar Door (which is exceptional) this brew is a murky pale golden color. Like someone let a glass of lemonade sit in the sun all day. Not as carbonated as I would have liked for a Saison but the flavors were strange yeasty, watered orange juice, brett, and something kind of funky. A cool brew and even cooler label, try it for the summer!

22 oz. bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors, Andover location. Aroma is a crazy amount of spices; sage, dried flowers, weak citrus, yeast.

The flavor has a light part hand from the Brett. But to be completely honest, this really has too much spice and herbs. Borderline abrasive. Maybe I should have let this sit to see if it would have gotten better? I would not recommend drinking this fresh. Lay it down and see if the Brett helps balance the herbs.

pours orange amber, massive white head. herbal, light lemon from what I am assuming is the brett presence, nutmeg, cinnamon. What in the actual fuck? medium body. I know one thing Big tasty is an ass.

Bottle at the Bottle Share. Floral and spice on this golden pour. I didn’t get much brett off this. Not sure of its age.

Hazy gold appearance, thick head soapy head, and a potent herbal aroma. The flavor is dominated by the spices. The white sage, if that’s what this is, is really powerful. Lots of pepperiness, some lemon and not as much funk as I hoped. Jess picked this up for me in Lawrence in 2015.

Bottle. Thanks deyholla! Pours slightly cloudy (bad pour on my part) with a pillowy white head. Aroma is sage, floral beyond my liking. I don’t get much besides floral spices. Somewhat refreshing. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with visible carbonation and a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of flora and sweet light fruits with sweet grains supporting. Flavor is very fruit and flora forward with a bit of sweet grains and funk underlying.

22oz bottle pours out clear crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is perfume floral sweet honey and some spice. Taste is more of the honey herbs and plenty of spice.

Bomber. Hazy deep yellow with a huge foamy, lasting head. Big herby, floral aromas with notes of sage, grass, ginger, yeast and lemon. Tastes herbal and dry. Body is heavier with a foamy feel.

Bottle shared in line at OEC. Pours hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma of gross sage or something plus a weird beer and weird Brett notes. Flavor bad. Average texture. Not a good beer.
