Palme (4398) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 12, 2016
From a 0.75l bottle @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. A golden cloudy one with a nice medium sized white sidesticking head. Smells of apples, and strawberries. Really summarily. Almost like a cider actually. Strong flavors. More apple cider, some wood hints. Its grassy with light sour leafs. In the mouth its about about average on the bubbles and mild oily on the texture. Quite mouthrying - near astringent with green grapes in the finish. A really different and tasty one. 03.05.2014

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 4. Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds sugary pale bread, subtle fruit accents. Big sweet flavour, with lots of doughy bread, citrus fruits, light alcohol presence. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, sticky sweet. Pretty good beer.

Orange pour, white head. Quite boozy up front, chewy caramel malts, lots of whiskey, oak, toffee. This was ok, but not that great.
