Bottle at CGBD. Pours orange with a white head. Peachy fruity, hints of brandy, light wood, light spicy yeast, and some light lingering fruity and hoppy notes. Big overall, but (relatively) well restrained on the barrel aspect. Good stuff. j12601 (11706) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Sampled this at Campground Brewdown 2. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft wood, musk, funk. Wheat, candy, soft alcohol. Warm and yeasty, musk and wheat into the finish. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with big gushing white head. Nose and taste of apple brandy, oak, lemongrass, yeast, lemon candy and alcohol soaked grapefruit peel. Lighter medium body. icehawk (834) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Thick, very sweet, and extremely complex. Every sip seems to introduce a different flavor until the sweetness and alcohol dominate. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 30, 2013

Tour de Geuze tasting 04/2013.
"malt beverage". Tastes like: Apple brandy. Dryish, barrel-aged tripel. Which happens to cover exactly what is on the label. Yeasty calvados tripel? Well-made for what it is. Not sure when the need will arise again...
Sampled at a ESBLS tasting. This was a gusher. Big carbonation. Gold in color. Nose of fruit and yeast. Possibly wild yeast. Flavor of apple and again the yeast. Sweet finish. Don’t get the brandy barrel. tderoeck (9656) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 26, 2013
22/IV/13 - 75cl bottle @ Rampkrot (Deurne) - BB: n/a (2013-370) Thanks to Travlr for sharing the bottle!Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2013
Little cloudy orange beer, big creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: bit sugary, orange peel, apple sauce, calvados. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, apple skin, citrus, bit sugary, some alcohol. Aftertaste: little sweet, calvados, pretty bitter, almonds, citrus, hoppy ending. I’m still not convinced that it’s a good idea to barrel age a tripel, but Kasteelbier could learn a thing or two from this one.
Sampled at an esbls tasting. This was a HUGE gusher. Hazed golden with a white head. I smell wild yeast so this might be infected. The taste is sweet and infected. Spme apple. Too bad the wild yeast got in there. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 23, 2013
75cl, new exclusive American brew Anno 2012, thx to Travler!, very complex brew, fruity/floral and slightly alcoholic/sweet, not too heavy, balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 22, 2013
Thx to Travlr. 75 cl. bottle sampled. Hazy bright orange with an okay creamy white head. Nose is brett, orange, light yeast, children aspirin, quite lactic,… Taste is lot of brett in the taste, very explosive with lots of carb. lightly lactic, tart; touch old, moldy apple, child aspirin, strong bitter, touch lactic lemon,… Explosive carb. Nice but not entirely there.
