The Belgian IPA is based on our regular IPA – pale, Munich, Carapils and caramel malts, hopped 4 times in the kettle and double dry hopped with a blend of Cascade, Citra, Chinook, and Columbus hops. The Belgian IPA features a larger portion of Citra hops and a higher degree of attenuation (7.7% abv compared to 6.8% for the regular IPA, same starting gravity) along with the added fruity/spicy character from the Belgian yeast results in an intense blast of hop aroma and flavor.

A very hoppy IPA that is just short of going too far on bitterness. The hop flavor and aroma is strong but not earthy, and there is some malty balance. Finishes a bit sour. Appearance is orange and average for a Belgian pale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Beszarás! 0,33-as, ronda zöld dobozban került a kezembe, na gondoltam itt egy adag híg fos lesz. Több ennél sokkal drágább ipa is tanulhatna tőle!

Aroma is SERIOUSLY hoppy - heck, hoppier than a kangaroo on angel dust! Pours a nice clear amber with a fairly thick pale wheat head. Flavor is very hoppy with a nice citrus undertone and a hint of honey to offset the bitterness. Texture has good body and lots of fizz and sass. If you can get this on tap, get on it like a duck on a June Bug!

This was tasted with my son in Columbia, SC at the World of Beer. The IPA had a strong citrus aroma and taste. The color was light amber and poured with a small head and lacing. The higher alcohol was very deceptive. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with some bitter aftertaste.

Pours cloudy copper capped with a small white head. No lacing left behind. Aroma shows sugary malt and yeast. Medium bodied with candy sugar presence that gets quickly overrun by heavy handed bitterness.
