from Erzbierschof - hazy orange beer under a solid creamy pale beige foam; nice lacework; the aroma shows charming notes of spices, yeast and flowery hops; full-bodied and gently sticky; very bitter and slightly acidic; quite dry finish with a long flowery bitter hoppiness, notes of almonds, cream and yeast fonefan (49586) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2012

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ home.
Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, riped fruit, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, mango, flowers, moderate to heavy yeasty, passion flowers, funky. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp, funky, hoppy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From the July 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a medium sized foamy off white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tangy and chalky citrus, Pez candies and a touch of air freshener. The flavor was tangy, bitter and tart citrus with notes of perfume, funk, dry chalk and must. The finish was very long, dry, funky, musty, chalky and perfumey. Moderately full bodied. Interesting. rosenbergh (11613) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 21, 2012
650 ml bottle. From bierkompass.de.mjs (7470) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 21, 2012
Golden colour with reddish hue and small white head.
Aroma is hops, yeast, rhubarb, spices and some sweetness.
Flavour is much more IPA than Saison. Resiny hops, strong bitterness, some yeast and some sweetness in flavour. Tasty but not that saison-y.
Yeast makes it more round on the edges.
(Bottle, 0.65 l, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20120721) The beer poured golden and quite cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, sourness, fruitiness and hops. Palate was medium bodied and quite dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, sourness, spices, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sour, spicy and bitter. Aroma was closer to a saison and the flavour was closer to an IPA.

The taste is orange, mango, grapefruit, passion fruit, white grape, pine, straw, grass, straw, some spice, funk and farmyard, with a bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Down right delicious. ekstedt (6881) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2012

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty – wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, fruitiness - floral fruitiness, some citrus hoppyness, some spiciness (coriander, pepper), some yeast. Body is medium, malty – wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, some fruitiness, citrus hoppyness and light spiciness, some yeast. Finish is average, malty – some wheat and dryish, faint fruitiness with some peppery spiciness and some citrus hoppyness, light alcohol and light yeast. Wheaty and dryish saison with peppery spiciness - could use more hoppyness and less wheat. mar (5423) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2012
