Half on keg in Craft Beer Co. Fresh on and perfect condition. Colour is deep deep, cloudy orange, bubbling off white head. Nose is amazing. Yeasty lemony citrous saison meets punchy citrus, tropical fruit, hoppy Ipa. Balance is absolutely perfect. Saison yeast and farmyard works perfectly with bold fruity citrous and mango notes. Bottle. High creamy and long lasting white head. Hazy milky peach coloured body. Flowery fruity aroma of oranges and lemon. Spicy dry flavor of oranges and nuts. Long dry and dustry hops finish. Low carbonation. Very well balanced with an alcohol level that seems just right. _angst_ (5008) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2012

Smell is sweet and tiny sour with passion fruit, unripe pineapple, lemon zest, mango, peaches, dry soil, yeasty esters, orange zest, fresh grass, black currant leaves, crackers, dried apricots, grapes and very subtle hints of barnyard. Taste is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with cloves, dry soil, orange peal, passion fruit, lemon zest, peaches, green grapes, dried apricots, barnyard, grape zest, wet leaves, barnyard, pineapple, gooseberries, red currants, lemon grass, hay, Thai basil, lemon balm and mango. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, smooth and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, slightly bitter and tiny sour with grapes, pineapple, passion fruit, lemon zest, dry soil and orange zest. Wow!!! (Bottle) Pours hazy golden with an off-white head. The aroma holds lots of passion fruit up front with undertones of mild and bright citrus, minty herbs, nettles, grass, incense, spices, flowers, tea, green apples, new backed white bread, crackers, hints of phenols and a touch of brett. Juicy and yummy nose. The flavour is light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and light acidic with notes of tropical fruits, flowers, white bread, crackers, light phenols and brett. The mouthfeel is round and soft with a light acidic. Balanced hops, soft ripe fruits, herbs, phenols, bread and crackers. Near medium bodied. gyllenbock (9846) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2012

650 ml, bottled Feb 03, 2012. Hazy copper with a lasting head. Big nose of peppery citrus zest, resin, mango, and (serendipitously) some tangy ham. Flavor is earthy toffee, resin and citrus; but some funky dark fruit and acetic tartness shows up very quickly. Also some wheat, spicy molasses, oak and tropical melon. Medium body is smooth, balanced and an easy drinker. Bravo for a nice experiment that seems like it would be good (and different) no matter when you cracked it open.

10/12/11/12/12/12

Pours a hazy orange colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of strong, almost stinging Galaxy hops, orange and grass. Strong flavour of Galaxy hops, grass, floral notes, orange and exotic fruits such as kiwi. Brett is there but it doesn’t dominate. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a lingering bitter, tart finish. Really nicely hopped and refreshing. Kudos for the not-so-dominating Brett.
