bottle. cloudy orange beer with a large, whipped, white head. lots of action in the glass. very lively. tropical nose with pineapple and also a softer peachy side with a hint of black pepper. the yeast must add that peppery note to the flavor. very hop forward saison. borderline 2ipa for me. lots of bitterness with a hint of unripe banana. medium body and lively, carbonated mouthfeel. a great beer, albeit, a little too hoppy. Bomber from Community Tap, Greenville, SC. Nice pale orange pour, with a semi-cloudy look and boisterous carbonation. The rocky head and impressive lacing appeal. Nose was malty, sharp and spicy, not bad. But the flavors were more complex and mellowed, with dry hops, spicy yeast, and a bit of piquant brett making an interesting hybrid. A bit better than most attempts at a Belgian IPA.
