Bottled (backlog). Hazy orange colour with a creamy off-white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is grassy, some brett, mild funk as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is bitter fruity and floral notes with some funk and brett tones. Ends nicely fruity and rather dry wooden. Actually not that sour, but instead rather dry. ippopotamo36 (2389) - Rome, ITALY - APR 14, 2016
Bottle shared by Kolschtrinker in Kosovo. Thank you. Clear amber-reddish pour, medium persistent ivory head. Nose: red fruit, cherry jam, a bit of lime. Nice. Mouth: frizzy start, mild caramel, citric dry finish. More sweet but certainly tasty as a brett brew.
Spritzig. 11/12/11/10/10/11 emacgee (4677) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Soft and orange copper pour with one finger of white head. Nose shows some fruity/buttery notes with a vinous quality, woody, a tad sweet, and dark fruit. Medium body and peppery with some oaky woody notes. Nice. Iphonephan (6989) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JUL 18, 2015

Thanks to Hopswagger for this one.

A - Super cloudy, tawny orange/brown color. 2 fingers of yellow head fizzle down forming a thin cap. Zero lacing.
Opened this one over the sink and I’m glad I did. Popped the top and out came gushing bubbles.
S - Big brett aroma, citrus and cherries, tart and sweet, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple but mostly papaya. I mean like you cut open a papaya and stuck your nose in it. There’s a strong layer of wine soaked wood along. Some cherry bubblegum and mineral notes in the background along with some lactose sugar.
T - Tart fruit upfront, cherries, grapes, lemons, very seltzer like. Stings the tongue. Then it transitions into some sweet and fruity malts in the middle, orange citrus, some bubblegum, semi tart candy but quickly turning dry again. The wine barrel rolls in bringing in old vinous wood, dried tropical fruits, vinous basement funk, earthiness, dry with an refreshing finish.
M - Effervescent bubbles upfront, very dry in the middle but the dryness drops off a tad on the finish. The carbonation is overbearing the first pour but drops of as it sets. Medium wet body but full carbonation. Weird mouthfeel.
Awesome bretty aroma full of tropical and vinous fruit. The barrel was milder in the flavor but added plenty depth. The mouthfeel is weird and hard to explain. This bottle is almost 1.5 years old and I’ve never had it fresh so I can’t tell if it’s gotten better or worse but it’s drinking great.

The bottle is a slow infinite gusher; it pours a hazy amber color with large head. The aroma is nice: wood, wine, some vanilla; pungent, with some acidity and strong fruits (grapes), funky. The mouthfeel is still too much carbonated, and very dry; it has a funky flavor with nice vinous character, but also a bit too much astringency; moderate acidity.
Good but not elegant.
Counter pressured growler via Hopscotch at the JPBP Gathering 2013: Deep golden near amber hue with a frothy head. The aroma has notes of light barnyard brettanomyces, sour apple, bready and toasty malts along with some floral esters. The taste is a nice soft dankness and funk with a flowery and biscuity malt notes. The sourness is surprisingly mild and adds to the overall experience. The mouth feel is lively and very refreshing, a tad chalky. I like this but did hope that the brett would have taken hold more. Comes off more akin to a Berliner Weiss than a full blown wild ale.
