Cloudy orange/tan pour at Below the radar in Huntsville AL. Smells like strong resin/piney hops mixed half and half with orange citrus. Fairly even blend between hops and malt but malt comes up a little ahead. Bitter and sweet finish with lots more citrus juicy flavor.

Bottle from Tim. All biscuity aromas with a very faint hop whiff. Biscuit and citrus flavors. Overall it?s decent. As it warmed up it became more alcoholic and not drinkable. Holy (897) - GERMANY - NOV 16, 2013
Bottle picked up at Five Point Liquors in Valdosta, Georgia. Aroma is extremely earthy, taste is nice, perhaps a little harsh. A dirty bitter end game to this beer… icehawk (876) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - SEP 13, 2013

A: Pours a clear amber color with a frothy white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin film and bubble collar that leaves splotchy lace down the glass.
S: Big hop oils up front. Lots of citrus rind, mostly a semi-tart grapefruit, and some resiny smells going on. The malt body is muddled underneath, but a residual sweetness is there to remind you that (hopefully) the malts will be there to balance out the massive hops.
T: Definitely hoppy, but the malt body really comes on strong to balance out the residual hop oils. Slightly tart grapefruit rind with a touch of flesh, some lemon zest, pine bitterness and malty sweetness.
M: Sticky body, but the finish is definitely on the drier side. Medium carbonation. Slightly teeth coating as well which is surprising for the dryness of the finish.
O: The was a definite hop bomb with a dry malt body. I think there maybe was slightly too much going on hop and fruit wise, but it was still a solid beer that I’m glad I got the chance to try. Thanks, Mike!

Almost tasted like drinking citrus juice. The beer was was quality beer but maybe a tad to filling and boozy. Labeled as 9% but tasted more like 10 or 11%. If you love citrus hoppy beers this is one to seek out. TomTron (455) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Pours a clear golden with not much head. Smells like a tropical fruit rainforest. Flavor is a tad bit tame from what I was expecting but it is nicely balanced with a ton of grapefruit and citrus with the malts not letting themselves disappear. Westbrook is yet again releasing solid brews from the great state of South Carolina. Cheers! pellegjr (396) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2012
Bomber, pours heavily clouded amber with scant white head, pithy slightly bready aroma with some citrus accents and boozy esters, tons of pithy bitterness throughout, finishes moderately full and sweet with some burn on finish, a bit of a mess
