Growler from Piggly Wiggly Myrtle Beach. Nice orange color....slight head. I was surprised to see this is an all Cascade beer....I thought it was some funky new hop blend or something. Seems like a big waste of grapefruit because I dont get much of it. It reminds me a lot of Gubna....kind of has a oniony taste to me. This is a big beer and could be called boozy and slightly malty. Really poor aroma. I want my fresh IIPS to have a big flower aroma...this has none.
On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Bottle looks like picture, but scans 2011 version and is bottled 9/2/13. Golden slight ly hazy color, good foam. Immediate hops and caramel; quite high viscosity and hop juice like. Also aromas of citrus and ok fruitiness- some vanuilla in the end. Medium/full body & high complexity. Some sweetness, but also nice bitterness.Enjoyable- but too much caramel and sweetness for my taste- but maybe a year on the bottle is way to much for this beer Pyrmir (6094) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2013
650 ml bottle. Almost clear orange with off white head. Aroma of marmalade, apricot, lemon, grapefruit and caramel. Taste of caramel, marmalade, wood, grapefruit, lemon with a bitter long finish Holy (837) - GERMANY - NOV 16, 2013
Bottle picked up at Five Point Liquors in Valdosta, Georgia. Aroma is extremely earthy, taste is nice, perhaps a little harsh. A dirty bitter end game to this beer… icehawk (834) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - SEP 13, 2013
Big citrus aroma... grapefruit, lemon, orange. Nice hopphippy bite at finish with a medium body and robust lively mouthfeel TomTron (452) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Pours a clear golden with not much head. Smells like a tropical fruit rainforest. Flavor is a tad bit tame from what I was expecting but it is nicely balanced with a ton of grapefruit and citrus with the malts not letting themselves disappear. Westbrook is yet again releasing solid brews from the great state of South Carolina. Cheers!

Bottle from Greenville Beer exchange. Pours golden with a thin head. Has some lacing in the glass. Slight grapefruit on the nose. Bigger hop bitterness and grapefruit on the tongue. Finishes clean. I didn’t mean to age it. It would have been better fresher. fonefan (49343) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2013
