[email protected] Opaque black color, steady brown head, lots of lace. This one has woody, cellary aroma, toasted. Full-bodied. Toasted but has lots of calvados like apple-flavor. Also some cellary and woody notes. Quite sweet and interesting beside those cellar notes.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 1. Pours oily black-brown with a thick, dark beige head. Has a rich chocolate cake aroma with cookie dough and light charred malts. Medium to big sweet flavor, subtly boozy, with dark and sugary chocolate, light roast, hints of wood, raisins. Full bodied with fine carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Warming finish with sticky sugars, chocolate syrup, burnt wood and moderate earthy bitterness. Rich and decadent - quite delicious as well.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Jet black in the glass this one is, and it has a nice medium sized dark chocolaty brown top that’s leaving some nice prickles down the sides of the glass. Rich sweet chocolate aroma with lots of roasted malts. Rich thick soy sauce, licorice, chili and dark coffee. Oh, it’s really sweet this. Thick oily mouthfeel and a soft prickling carbonation level. Loaded with what can be almost described as cloying darkness, I get lots of sweet licorice, tar, some peaty traces and dark dry chocolate. I don’t think of myself as a woos, but this is perhaps just a bit to much for my poor delicate taste buds. 04.05.2013

CBC. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and minerally crisp. Sweetish dark malts with a little cream. Nice touch of semi sweet and spicy apple. Airy creamy finish with a spicy bite. Really nicely joined up!
