COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our interpretation of Gose, a traditional German sour wheat beer brewed with coriander and salt. But this time, we decided to citrus-it-up and throw some ultra-tart Yuzu juice into the mix!

First Gose for me. Light yellow outfit with tiny white foam which disappears fast. Tart aroma with citric tones. Very juicy, citric and little bit sour taste. Not so sour and good what I exptected but OK. First feels kinda unilateral but gets better when warm up.

On tap at Himmeriget. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Dry and sour with aromas of sour dough rye and some lemon. Seems not really fresh. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Dry and sour finish with notes of yuzu.

Draft @ Himmeriget a little while back. Wanted to review after trying the normal WB Gose. This is a step-up from an already good beer. There is lots of yuzu that brigs out the citrus taste as well. So the acidic balance, saltiness, and thirst-quenching aspects are there, but it tastes that much better. Yuzu seems to be a great tool for sour or funky beers. Great stuff, probably my favorite Gose so far.

Merci Roger pour le partage! Une Gose pour moi trs diffrente de celles que jai got jusqu prsent. Je suis dabord surpris par ce nez qui me rappelle une confiture de fraises Double Fruits qui embote le pas un vinaigre de vin rouge. Comme si ces armes ntaient pas suffisamment contradictoires, je note galement beaucoup de bois pourri servant depuis longtemps de support des champignons. O suis-je sil-vous-plat? Bon, je gote. Malts jeunes en bouche et Yuzu citronn. Une acidit importante du fruit se manifeste en attaque avec une profondeur intressante qui ressemble la contribution dun noyau de fruit rouge tel la cerise. Le sel dans la bire est cohrent au style. Jusque l tout se passe correctement. cest la finale qui pour moi est difficile supporter. Une fois les fruits tombs, lacidit demeure et cest le champignon et le bois putride qui reprennent le dessus dans une longue finale rpeuse qui je dois le dire, me suggre un insupportable got de vomi (la gorge sre qui remonte parfois lors de la digestion). Une exprience.

650ml bottle. Saltier rendition, big kettle sour notes of green apple, has some autolyzed yeast character in the finish that when blended with the salt gives an impression of marmite.
