Bottle shared at the Foothills bottle share... thanks for setting it up, Mike! Plenty of black cherry sweetness, acidity, barrel notes. A slighty steaminess to it, like wet oak. Mildly lactic. I’ve liked others from Westbrook more. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 12, 2014
Pour from bottle at What the Funk!? 2014. Appearance is murky caramel with absolutely no head. Tannic, oak, vinous, peach skin, caramelly, toffee, and lemony aroma. Taste is pungent orange juice, citrus, light lactic, somewhat salty, vanilla, urine, and red wine vinegar with a huge sour finish. Slick mouthfeel soft carbonation. Alright. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2014
750ml bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Apple / apple brandy, wood, some vinegar, fruity and some caramel. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Mahogany hue, mostly translucent. Silky tan-red lace on the surface; zero head otherwise. Aarond (150) - Wilmington, North Carolina, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Way low carb :D. Soured grain & cherries bump up against the apple brandy barrel. Plenty of pucker; fortunately doesn't turn Tussin-y. Dat barrel = good stuff.
Bottle. Aroma is sour apple, oak, candy sugar, molasses, raisins, and booze. Appearance is very dark brown with almost no head. Taste is prunes, sour apple, molasses, figs, lactobacillius, candy sugar, and oak. Medium body with very low carbonation. Overall a very good beer with a lot of flavors that work together.

Botlte shared at RRBS. Thanks. This was nice. Cloudy golden with a small fizzy white head. Apple brandy definitely comes thru but the base sour holds its own as well. Fairly dry with a nice lactic finish. JStax (6478) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 26, 2014
22 ounce bottle poured into a mini-snifter. Pours a dark amber to copper with no head. Aroma has tart notes of apple cider and wood. There is a fruity berry sweetness along with granny smith apples. Medium body and carbonation. EricTeusink (700) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 18, 2014
Pretty hazy memories on this brew. Largely drafting off Westmeister’s recollection. This brew was a just a touch too pricey for me. Bottle - Ale Yeah! - Decatur, GA daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Amber color. Off white head. Vinegar, cherry, red apples, woody notes and some booze. Pretty damn good.
