Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a clear ruby amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy sour yeast, fruit and wood aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart flavor with a medium to heavy sour & tart finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. alexsdad06 (10388) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 14, 2013
750 ml bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a clear dark amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some sweet malts, a nice Flanders red note, tart character, caramel, gets soft at times. I can’t believe itis 11 percent. Not much carbonation, but good flavor. b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2013
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with Tmoney99, alexsdad06, and jmborggren; thanks Dogbones). Looks good; a cloudy reddish brown with very thin light beige lacing. Smells solid; tart and funky with notes of cherries and apple brandy barrels. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a tart but smooth mouthfeel. Dangerously drinkable for 11% too. Good beer. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - NOV 9, 2013
11/9/13. Bottle shared by Matt at Sweet Grass. A lucky bottle shared during their Westbrook events! Thanks, guys! Amber red pour with a nice khaki head. Lightly tart aroma, deep, rich, on the Flanders side of things as far as sours go - dark fruits, a mix of sweet and sour with rich savory aspects - tobacco, leather, dark fruits, dark sugars, etc. Tasty! jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Pours a translucent copper from the bottle with no real head or lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel from the barrel up front, then a nice lactic sour middle, and an oaky sour finish. Taste is less than the nose, but still a nice blend of the sour and the brandy barrel. I think its pretty damn good.

Bottle from Sweetgrass at the Westbrook beer dinner. Deep ruby color with a small white head. Vinegar, cherry, oak, notes if lactic acid in the aroma. Sweeter, slightly tannic flavor with the above mentioned flavor with a puckering tart ending. Medium bodied and dry. Pretty nice. tdmuel (251) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Pours a very murky dark brown with basically no head. Some tart acidic apple notes on the nose, some bretty barnyard funk, dark fruits, plenty of oak, caramel, and a nice bit of alcohol. Very oaky, earthy tart apples up front on the taste, lots of vanilla, some nice lactic sourness, lots of wood, lots of berries, candi sugar, and slightly vinegary. It’s tasty, though it’s a very strange combination of flavors. The barrel is almost overpowering at first, but it works itself out ok in the end. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2013

Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark
Unclear medium to dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, berry, caramel, wood, alcohol - brandy, apple notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berry, malty, tart, woody, wine - apple wine alike. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. This is a deep dark plum red one with a small beige light lacing top. It smells of sour berries and brett mainly this. A little bit of red wine vinegar also in here. A nice Flemish aroma. Lots of sweetness initially, but quickly balanced out with a bone dry woody flavor. Red berries and dark candied sugar. Light, and then I mean HEAVY, burning in the throat after the swallow. Lots of flavor, really tasty. 03.05.2013 tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2013
