Pours a translucent copper from the bottle with no real head or lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel from the barrel up front, then a nice lactic sour middle, and an oaky sour finish. Taste is less than the nose, but still a nice blend of the sour and the brandy barrel. I think its pretty damn good. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 12, 2014

On tap at CBC, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of deep dark fruits, brandy notes, caramel, and candied sugar -- some lightly tart notes. Flavour brings out complex sour dark fruits, toffee, and some oaky notes. Super complex and wonderfully sour. Excellent stuff. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2013

Flavour: Berries, grape, vague sweetness to counter, sourness, tart, barrel, fruits. Medium to full bodied. Ends grapy and sour with a light fruity touch. Quite nice. drowland (8730) - Georgia, USA - NOV 9, 2013
11/9/13. Bottle shared by Matt at Sweet Grass. A lucky bottle shared during their Westbrook events! Thanks, guys! Amber red pour with a nice khaki head. Lightly tart aroma, deep, rich, on the Flanders side of things as far as sours go - dark fruits, a mix of sweet and sour with rich savory aspects - tobacco, leather, dark fruits, dark sugars, etc. Tasty! 22 ounce bottle poured into a mini-snifter. Pours a dark amber to copper with no head. Aroma has tart notes of apple cider and wood. There is a fruity berry sweetness along with granny smith apples. Medium body and carbonation. DuffMan (10434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle, sent to me by b3shine (thanks Beau!), and shared at RBAG 2014. Medium-to-dark brown, sour profile is balanced by caramel malts, lovely cherry and chocolate notes. A nice malty sour in the Flemmish tradition, and not a hint of the 11% ABV! Delicious!
