COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

appearance: clear gold, soapy white head. aroma: medicinal, herbal, dusty, old fruit, hardly any malt. taste: aroma is borne out in the flavor. finish: lingering bitterness, sharp aspirin. notes: Disappointing. Draft at the source.

12 oz. can. 60 IBU’s per the label. Pours a thick, well retained off white head, with moderate lacing, over a slightly hazy dark yellow (SRM 4) body.....nose is light pine, multiple fruits including orange, lemon, light malts with sweet tones, bread, cracker, nicely balanced......taste is mildly floral honey sweet, with light malts, pine, light citrus fruits, finishing with moderate bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, mild alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a soft, mellow, easy drinking IPA. The malts and hops are both pleasantly complex in aroma and flavor and are nicely balanced. This is not a West Coast IPA, it is a bit more East Coast in direction. BJCP 7/3/15/5/7

Definitely my favorite Westbrook brew I have sampled so far, and I definitely look forward to trying this one again! Recently had this on tap, poured a clear and slightly gold-accented yellow-orange color, with a long-lasting foamy head. Aroma was a relatively moderate piney hoppiness, understated but fresh. Flavor follows as a well balanced pine and citrus hop palate with a nice balance of toasty caramel maltiness. medium-bodied. Overall truly just an exceptionally well-balanced true-to-form example of the style, and very drinkable at that.

Pours amber with white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, hops, lime, some caramel. Flavour is just the same with a dry long bitter finish. Lively carbonation, medium body. Not so balanced though.

12oz. can. Golden color, fluffy white head. Not much malt to speak of in this one - VERY hoppy with a big bitter finish. Lots of grapefruit notes throughout. Really liked it.

Keg Third of a Pint at Craft 100 Festival at Craft Beer Co, Clapham, London in Oct 2016 - Hazy Yellow Gold in colour. Off-white head. Very Fruity; grapefruit citrus and tropical fruits. Very Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty; pale malts, caramel. Bitter citrus fruity and well hopped. Enjoyed this. Classy IPA! (2016-10-06)

Otwarłem puszkę, nalałem do szkła.

Can. Hazy golden with fluffy white head, good lacing. Light malty and heavy hoppy. Aroma is citrus, pine, resin and herbal. Starts light sweet and finish light heavy bitter. Medium body and oily texture. A decent one...
