I was expecting more from this after the other excellent beers. It’s very hazy. Bit of nuttiness. Corn in the back of the aroma. drfabulous (8586) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - OCT 1, 2014
22 ounce bottle thanks to James. Big pillowy carbonated pour. Too much! Taste is spicy hop. Malt. Much more nuanced than other Oktoberfests that just pour on the caramel. Nice. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 27, 2014
From bottle. Clear amber with a lasting off-white head.cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 26, 2014
Toffee-heavy cara malt, butter and peanut brittle aroma. Medium body, rich and creamy with fine carbonation. Green-herbal-pine hop aroma. Light off-notes of plastic. Velvety and lush in the mouth. Burnt grain astringency lingering forever in a finish that tastes like pancake batter left on the burner too long... kettle caramelization taken to the extreme. Without this loud roughness this seems like it would be something enjoyable.
Bottle @ Zach’s house. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a thin cream colored head. Caramel, toasted malt, biscuit in the nose and lots of herbal notes. A little spicy flavor with lots of dough and light citrus. Fizzy carbonation. Ok. GTAEgeek (2425) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2014
22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange, with a big, frothy, beige head. Caramel, oranges, coriander, light floral hops, and sourdough. Bready sweetness, with a light bitterness. Light body, chalky, a little sharp, and astringent. Overall, this is a nice, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable beer. Mellow, balanced, and well done.

Draft at Westbrook. Burnt orange pour with a frothy white head. Toasted bready aroma, light caramel, toast, floral and grassy hop aroma. Flavor is similar, with a sort of toffee flavor and much more of a pronounced Noble hop character. Clean easy drinking with a nice bitterness. Good stuff. Draft. Deep amber color, tan head. Nice aroma of toasted brown biscuits. Taste is sweet, malty at first, then peppery toast. Very nice. suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Gusher. Under the six inch light khaki head is a hazy toffee colored liquid. The enormous head is slow to fall. Lacing. Buttery carbonic aroma. Taste is buttery as well. Caramel. Dry. Carbonic. Infected. unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - JUL 13, 2014
22oz bottle. Light amber color. Aroma of toasted malts, lagered smell. Oaked essences of vanilla. Flavor of vanilla oak, toasted grains, grassy hops. ABV is accurate, overall finishes like an Imperial Oktoberfest. Tastey. I’m favorite Westbrook, so far. (4119)
