The nose shows tequila and a lighter background of black coffee.
The palate is lightly carbonated with a big oily and slick body. Very cinnamon forward in sweetness and spiciness with a background of roasted and light tequila. hohops (1023) - Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2016
Bottled on 23/5/16. Appearance is pitch black, no light, opaque, a foamy tan head of around half a finger which dissipates. Aroma- vanilla, coffee, peppers, dark chocolate, roast malt, treacle, chocolate fudge, cinnamon, more vanilla. Taste- creamy chocolate, lots of cinnamon, peppery heat, burnt treacle, roast malt, burnt toast, more cinnamon, cocoa, chocolate cake, vanilla traces, dark bitter chocolate, espresso. Peppery cinnamonny finish. Mouthfeel is thick and coating, chewy, with a sticky finish. Complex, very nice.

I drank this beverage at the mise en bière in Lausanne. I was so happt that they have this beer at the draft. Since I long time that I was looking for this beer and when I see it, I jump like a lion to take it and like a first kiss, I was not disappointed. This beer is really good, it is a pity because I know that I drank it too cold, because the bar was crowded and we had to stay outside to breathe a bit. The taste is perfect and there is a side of cake, caramel, sweet and a nice touch of bitterness, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla. Great aroma - loads of coffee and chocolate with cinnamonn and pepper also present. In addittion there is also loads of vanilla, coconut, pumpernickel... there is so much going on in there. Taste is just as complex, very sweet, yet not overwhelming. Chocolate and cocoa are playing main roles there with pepper providing hints of spiciness while coconut together with vanilla notes are providing nice finishing touch. Overall it’s a titan of a beer. Aromat: bardzo złożony - czekolada, kakao, wanilia, owoce w likierze, alkohol, cynamon. Obiecuje bardzo dużo.
Wygląd: barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta z niewielką, brązową i niezbyt trwałą pianą. Widać jednak oleistą konsystencję.
Smak: umiarkowana słodycz, wyraźna czekolada, kakao, wanilia, cynamon. Całość przypomina nieco cukierki kukułki. Trochę kwaskowości, paloności, nawet kokos (być może była to wersja leżakowana) oraz alkohol. Mimo wszystko piwo jest doskonale zbalansowane. Goryczka dosyć wysoka- palono- alkoholowa, ale przyjemna. Krągła do tęgiej pełnia, umiarkowane wysycenie i lekko kwaskowy alkoholowo- palony finisz. Papryczek zbytnio nie czułem.
