At MBCC. Red wine flattens out the flavors for me here. It still has some spice and the light cacao/cinnamon/vanilla thing going on, but this has been my least favorite variant. Still a solid beer, but the bourbon or Tequila versions (or the original!) are much better.

jookos (7041) - FINLAND - MAY 26, 2017
Mbcc green. Black. Light green paprika, mud cakey, dusty intense nose. Fullish bodied, intense, smooth, some sweetness. Malty rich doughy kinda nice.

Apparently had this twice (same score): Mbcc green. Black. Smooth dark chocolately, bit salty roasty nose. Med full bodied, malty, bit old woody. Slight bready dusty. Ok.

Bomber dated 7/9/16. Black with no head. Sweet. Oak, cherry. Some spice but very mild. Much more subtle than any other cake variant I’ve had.
