Pours see through dark brown with a spritzy brown head. Aroma has christmassy spices, redwine, mexican spices and chocolate. Different but very nice. Taste is along the same lines, very tasty and with tingling peppers. The mouthfeel is the only thing I would have wanted different. It’s a little on the lighter side. A creamier mouthfeel would have completed the picture. Aftertaste is Mexican as hell but the red wine adds a mellow quality. Very nice.

Draught at MBCC. Green Session. Jet black, bubbles on the surface, dotted spots on the glass. Rich smell of chocolate cake, lightly spiced. Well blended flavours of liquorice, dark grapes, chocolate and wood. Vinous impression. Dark spiced finish. Lovely sipper qualities. (Copenhagen 13.05.2017).

Provad på MBCC-17. Kolsvart. Riktigt gott.

At MBCC. Red wine flattens out the flavors for me here. It still has some spice and the light cacao/cinnamon/vanilla thing going on, but this has been my least favorite variant. Still a solid beer, but the bourbon or Tequila versions (or the original!) are much better.
