Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

At home. Bottle shared courtesy of Mrk’s beershopping budget. Big roasted choco malts, roasted peppers, cinnamon, coconut, marzipan. Big sweet, mild bitter. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice soft velvety and powdery feel. Very nice blend of spices. Mexican christmas in a bottle. Very nice. I want this. Double barrel huna without the subwoofer.

No head after seconds; virtually black beer. Sweet coffee, bit of Haagse Hopjes, caramel/toffee. Bitter-sweetish, roasted, mild chilli, some heat that isn’t alcohol; roasted and vanilla, cherry-filled chocolate. Medium to well bodied, viscous. The restrained chilli is an excellent touch. Thanks to Louis!

Kran w pubie "Chmielarnia Marszałkowska"
AROMAT: Intensywny. Z początku estrowe (dojrzale jabłka) oraz przyprawy (cynamon, wanilia, kokos).
WYGLĄD: Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Piana drobna, niska.

MrSquash (155) - Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2016
Mildly spicy mixed with chocolate and very mild roast. Flavor is more bitter and roasty. Noticeable alcohol and pepper spice in the aftertaste.

BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Traded bottle from May 2015 drank in TX over Thanksgiving. The peppers are definitely apparent but in a warming chili way. The base stout is nice with lots of chocolate. Nice but maybe too pepper forward for me.

ZacM612 (717) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Bottle shared by BelgianBeerGal. Black with a beige head. Aroma has some vanilla and chocolate. Taste is a chocolatey and a little spcy, but the burn from the peppers comes about a minute after each swallow. Nice.
