COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

Draft at City Hops, NYC. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate cake and roasted malt. Taste is chocolate cake, roasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla, habanero peppers. Finish is warming, from both the alcohol and the peppers. Excellent.

oberschlesier (216) - Kattowitz, UPPER SILESIA, - JAN 5, 2018
Aroma: chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, maybe there are even some peppers in nose. Taste: very sweet, cinnamon, cocoa. Alc. is well hidden. Head is rather minimal, it was better only for a minute after pouring. Carbonation is minimal. Beer is quite oily.

matbli (513) - Poznan, POLAND - DEC 30, 2017
Pours dark brown with fast falling beige head. Aroma chocolate, cinnamon, coffee and vanilla. Especially the cinnamon is strongly present. In taste very well balanced with medium chocolate sweetness and a light roasty bitter finish. The bitterness is not to long and not to ashy. The Habanero peppers are slightly warming in a very pleasant way. Full bodied with very well hidden alcohol.

Daboch (249) - Gdansk, POLAND - DEC 25, 2017
Praktycznie czarne nieprzezroczyste kolor z niezłą beżową-brązową pianą. Aromat głównie przyprawy, cynamon, wanilia, kakao, trochę nut palonych. W smaku najpierw ciasteczka, czekolada z przyprawami, trochę likieru potem wychodzą ostre papryczki. Znakomite połączenie.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 Bottle, vintage 2017, courtesy of SinH4. Pours black with beige foam. Aroma is marshmallow, coconut, ash, oil, lots of cinnamon. Body is heavy and strong, spicy but not overwhelming, slightly boozy but in balance. Incredible balance throughout. Flavours could be a little more prominent, though. Very good altogether.

Przyprawy + sos sojowy. Faktycznie czuć nuty ciasta i przypraw. Ciało spore ale papryczki psują

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2017 Barwa czarna, piana brązowozłota, niewiele. Zapach cynamonu. Wspaniale zrównoważone, w pierwszym smaku wanilia i kakao, alkohol zupełnie niewyczuwalny.

2017 bottle. Aroma is complex, changing over time, sometimes more cacao, then cinnamon, a tiny bit of peppers, dark chocoalte. Taste is deep, dense texture, lots of red fruits, chocolate, cinnamon, some spiciness in the finish, really like a cake. Great beer.

davidezdonz (633) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - DEC 5, 2017
A 22 fl. oz. bomber, bottled on 23rd May 2016. Poured into a snifter. It was black in colour with only a thin brown head that doesn’t stick around for long and sparse lacing. Aromas of cocoa, chocolate and cinnamon with touches of liquorice and char. Tastes of sweet-ish chocolate, cinnamon, liquorice, cocoa powder with hints of vanilla and nice light pepper heat on the back end. Creamy, medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall a very nice relaxing sipper. Just so easy to drink with the flavours so balanced.
