UPDATED: FEB 18, 2018 Really dark beer with cinnamon coloured head on top which goes into big bubbles. Aroma has dark fruity notes, figs and plums, dark chocolate, roasted malts, brown sugar, some spices but can't pinpoint them. Taste however reveals the spices to be cinnamon and vanilla. Dark chocolate sweetness too and roasted malts of course. Ending has chili burn but in a good way. Full oily texture with medium carbonation. Well executed spices on imperial stout, damn good. full, oily body, medium sweetness, light bitterness. Really well balanced. Pleasant beer! -Chili heat is increasing, but never overpowering/to hot

650 ml bottle at home. Pours an oily, nearly black mahogany with an quickly disappearing light-brown head. The aroma is full of sweetish roasted malt with lots of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, nuts, toffee, some slightly green herbal notes and hints of alcohol. Full body with hardly any carbonation, a medium sweetness, a light bitterness and a light to medium chili spiciness. Flavor of sweet roasted malt with cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, spices, cinnamon, caramel, some molasses, nuts and tobacco. Finishes with a distinct chili spiciness which increases with every sip but never becomes harsh and a light nice roasty bitterness.

Draft at City Hops, NYC. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate cake and roasted malt. Taste is chocolate cake, roasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla, habanero peppers. Taste: very sweet, cinnamon, cocoa.
Alc. is well hidden.

Pours dark brown with fast falling beige head. Aroma chocolate, cinnamon, coffee and vanilla. Especially the cinnamon is strongly present.
In taste very well balanced with medium chocolate sweetness and a light roasty bitter finish. The bitterness is not to long and not to ashy. The Habanero peppers are slightly warming in a very pleasant way. Full bodied with very well hidden alcohol. Fisler (831) - Bamberg, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2017
Dunkel wie die Nacht, schwarzer Schaum. In der Nase deutlich Vanille, Röstmalz. Im Trunk sehr würzig, röstig, schnell kommt die Chili durch, dazu etwas Vanilleschokolade. Durch die Schärfe nicht ganz einfach zu trinken. Den Alkohol merkt man im Trunk gar nicht.
