Bottle got shared at Himmeriget. Poured jet black with a small tanned ring on top. Nose of sweet dark chocolate, one of the most coconut presence in a mexican cake version i’ve had, sweet vanilla sauce, sweet Jack daniels bourbon, light tart cherry, smoke and sweet cinnamon. Taste is sticky coconut bounty, balanced pepper heat, sweet chocolate, ashy and bourbon. Mouthfeel is not of full as other versions. Much coconut still in the finish. Little bit of tasting at the back. Jummy, but it couldn’t compared the pappy version

, Copenhagen - black coloured pour with a medium tan head. Roasted malty with some high coconut prominence here in this variant, almost reminiscent of kokos flødeboller with the chocolate and vanilla singing out, some caramel, welcoming cinnamon presence once again, then in comes that nice chilli warming heat, nice and warming boozy with JD infused wooden notes into the finish. Beautiful.
Thanks to hackobock & _angst_ for looking out for me.
A: Dark dark brown coloured N: Cinnamon, chocolate, toffee, caramel, bourbon, oak, vanilla, hint of ash, molasses T: Cinnamon, chili, vanilla, bourbon, raspberry O: Quite vinuous and a bit boozy taste to it. The nose is excellent though! _angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2016
Bottle @ Himmeriget. Pours oily black with a very small mocha head that leaves some sparse spotty trace on the glass. Smell is malty, nutty and spicy with roasted malts, caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, tons of roasted coconut, smoked chilis, cinnamon, bounty bar and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, very tiny sour, malty, heavy nutty and slightly spicy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, oily, tiny astringent, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with bourbon barrel aged bounty bar and a chili burn. Extremely heavy on the coconut but I must confess I like that given it doesn’t take away the roast and spice of the base beer. Yummy!
