UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 By far the best thing I have tasted from Westbrook. Pours a hazy orange color- not much head retention. Nose is citrus, pine and spicy wheat. Taste is well balanced with the hops hitting the right notes and the rye giving it an aura of je-ne-sais-croix. Finish is a nice dry with the citrus lingering. A really good beer. Had from a can but intend to try on tap at the brewery. 1/1/2015 From a can at the beach. Still great. Unfiltered. Definite pine notes along with the citrus/orange. Nice dry resin on the finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - like fermented malt bag. Taste - spicy fruitcake with some wood spice. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid rye pale.

Can. Light orange body, mostly clear with a white head. Aromas of pine, bread, hops, citrus. Pine resin prevails. Light to medium in body with medium sweetness. Pretty good.

35 cl can. Pale yellow with decent white head, gone in a flash. Aroma of peach, sweet fruit and citrus. Flavour/palate of malts, grapefruit, citrus, grassy bitterness. Little body/high drinkability, grapefruity quality turns me off, but a solid beer regardless. No trace of rye whatsoever, which is probably for the better.

From the tap at FOB, in Rimini, Italy. Pours slightly pale gold with fluffy irregular white foam. Aroma is floral and citrus. Body is tendentially light. Taste has some bitterness, but delicate, plus some hay/herbaceous feeling.

Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2015, Parsons Green, London in July 2015 - Orangey Gold in colour. Modest head. Very Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Malty; grainy rye malts. Spicy. Hoppy; grassy hops. Good fruit/malt/hop balance. Moderately bitter fruity malty throughout. Liked the rye. Very drinkable. Nice APA! (2015-07-04)

Can from Bruisin Ales. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Fairly big rye on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Solid but not spectacular.
