12oz can. Pours cloudy golden-orange with a thick, chunky off white head, excellent lacing. Aromas of orange citrus, light malt, pine. The flavors pretty much follow suit, orange, piney hops, slightest touch of sweetness, though the finish is dry. Medium bodied with mild resin. Well-constructed like most Westbrook offerings, very enjoyable.

Zgrabna puszeczka, w typowej stylistyce browaru. Po nalaniu prezentuje się bardzo ładnie, bielutka piana, dość sztywna i trwała. drobno pęcherzykowa. Fantastyczny zapach. Mnóstwo słodkich owoców tropikalnych, multiwitamina, cytryna, limonka. Obłędnie świeży i przyjemny. Ananas, grejpfrut, mango, trawa cytrynowa. Nisko nasycone. Bardzo sesyjne, świetne piwo.

Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury-St-Edmunds. Floral citrus and bread aroma. A cloudy gold. Thick frothy head. Light bitter. Citrus, but of the sweeter variety. Spicy finish. Medium bodied. A tad oily. Soft carbonation. Long if low key finish. A satisfying APA, perhaps boosted due to having been stuck on the M25.

Can from Roller’s in Hilton Head, SC. Pours hazy bright blond-golden with a lacy white head. Aroma is rye, bread, citrus and floral hops. Flavor has a touch of sweetness, rye spice, medium earthy/citrus hop bitterness. Nice crisp feel, medium body. Pretty good.

Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Notes of bready and rye malts, citrus and muddled stone fruit, straw, crackers, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a malty, bitter, mostly clean mouthfeel. A little dry. Pretty crushable. Makes sense for a canned offering.

Rather delicious rye pale ale, earthy and mildly sweet with a firm citric hop base and a spicy rye finish. Nose mixes citrus with a piney hops and a caramel undertone, and the pour is solid, a slightly hazed gold with a white top and ample lace. Good silky slick texture. Damn fine beer.

Dark orange cloudy draft at Vendue rooftop in Charleston. White head. Tropical and pine. Hoppy and juicy. Good stuff

5/14/2017 (12 fl oz can): Tropical and dried fruits with a bit of spicy rye and caramel in the aroma; murky golden color with a nice off-white head; flavor has dried pineapple and citrus, Meyer lemon, finishes dry, spicy, and floral with a moderate level of bitternesss; medium body, smooth and perfect amount of carbonation; Great name, great can design, really great beer! It’s perfect for a hot day on the beach and very sessionable. I can’t get enough of Westbrook One Claw and wish I would have brought back more!
