Can. Appearance- hazy golden, fair amount of sediment comes out, a one-finger clingy off-white head. Aroma- malt, stewed fruit, rye, orange, hop traces, more pithy fruit. Taste- orange, earthy grapefruit, mango, rye malt, bitter hop traces, orange juice. Quite a full mouthfeel.

12 oz. can. Canned 02/21/17. Pours a thick, slowly collapsing ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a hazy, particle laden, light amber (SRM 7) body.....nose is fruits, including lemon, melon, also allium, grass, all from the hops, light malts, with slight rye spice, balance to the hops.......taste is mildly floral honey sweet, with light bread, cracker, mild rye spice from the malts, light pine, moderate fruits with melon, lemon, orange tones, finishing with mild hop bitterness......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a fairly clean, meaning minimal esters, beer, but the complexity is raised with the addition of the rye. The hop bitterness is a bit low for an APA, but it is a pleasant easy drinking beer, with the minor flaw of appearance (particles) and the hints of allium. BJCP 8/2/14/5/6

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2017 Bel colore dorato velata con schiuma bianca fine di media persistenza. Un buon naso con note floreali ed erbacee. Bevuta leggera, malto e luppolo equilibrati con una buona dolcezza. Nota erbacea leggera, luppolo troppo spenti per l?et. La segale si sente. Corpo medio, carbonazione piacevole. Bevuta dopo 7 mesi dal imbottigliamento, sicuramente una birra da riprovare fresca.
