Bottle at the Triad bottle share at Foothills organized by Mike. Dark chocolate heavy with a nice warming grainy presence. Borders on feeling hot at times. Solid. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle share at Sybarite Pig. Black pour in snifter. Light dark tan head and thin lacing. Strong alcohol on the nose with chocolate, nuts, oak. Awesome creamy taste with vanilla, chocolate, nuts, coconut. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Bomber. Pours deep black with a creamy, dark tan head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is chocolate, very dark roast espresso, and a bit of mint. Taste is dark chocolate mocha. Very rich but surprisingly (and pleasantly) dry. The higher ABV is rather subdued and really sneaks up. One of the best beers I’ve had in awhile. OmegaX (1375) - Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Thanks, Matt, for sharing. Aroma is big roasted malt and bitter dark chocolate. Lightly fruity nose, also. Pour is oily black with a tan head. Flavor is big roast and dark chocolate, light coffee, some anise, and molasses. Nice.

Impressive looking thick, black and with a lasting, thick and creamy dark tanned head. Roasty aroma, light fruity alcohol notes. liquorice tasting up front, malty caramel with a slight burn in the back. Bitter dark chocolate and coffee aftertaste. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Pitch black body yields foamy espresso head. Sticky beads of lace adorn my teku. Gorgeous! Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Rich, yet dry, coffee-infused roasty malt aroma. Taste opens up with espresso and boozy chocolate malt, turns sweet briefly before finishing dry. In short: Wow! This is excellent.
It isn't often I'm this impressed by a stout, but Ballistic Stout is deserving.
Thanks for the share Matt. This porter was bold and creamy with lots of caramel and coffee finishing with a dark chocolate kiss. VERY drinkable at 10% so watch out! pentaz (1264) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2013
