COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer so nice they named it twice. The only (known) incarnation of Siberian Black Magic Panther Imperial Stout has been this one, a draft-only version aged in Laird’s Apple Brandy Barrels. Even that has only popped up at a handful of special events. To say folks have raved about it would be an understatement.

From notes. Enjoyed at a share up at Huffman Lake with some good dudes the weekend of September 30 through October 01. 22 oz bottle. 2013 vintage. Long time want here, hell yes. The pour is a thick oily black with a light brown head that falls to a ring, then finishes its disappearance. The aroma is fantastic. There is a heavy chocolate and apple brandy smoothness right up front with a growing oak, vanilla, and just a hint of alcohol. The flavor is much of the same. Fudgy up front with a beautiful roasted malt and apple brandy depth on top of it. There is a lovely vanilla that balances out and carries a nice dark fruit through to the finish. The mouth feel is a medium to heavy body with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly fudgy and boozy brandy finish. This is just freaking awesome. 9 5 9 4 18

Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet malty, fruity and roasted with dark sugar, caramel, raisins, figs, some dark chocolate notes, light boozy brandy notes with an apple touch and charred wood. Taste is quite sweet, malty, fruity, roasted bitternes and light warming. Medium to full bodied, slick oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sweet dark sugars, caramelized apple, dried fruits, bitter notes of dark chocolate and charred wood.
Good, slightly too sweet though.

Bottle shared at Himmeriget. Poured a viscous black colour with a tanned head on top. Nose is quite heavy on the Apple brandy, thick roast notes, Apple liquor, vanilla, dark chocolate, fudgie, taste is overpowered by brandy in a bad way, it’s starting to get a little bit metallic in the back aswell. It won’t get any better by now

Bottle courtesy of my buddy Kevin. Cheers! Pours a deep obsidian with a thin tan head. Nose is huge apple brandy, chocolate, cocoa, dessert, sweetness, and hints of oak. Flavor is similar with roast, earth, cocoa, Apple brandy, slight oxidation, and more brandy. Medium in body and lingering brandy on the finish.
