7/12/17. 12oz can from The Foundry, Rome. Scrolled past this beer several times thinking I had already had it before realizing that was One Claw! D’oh! Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Lightly hoppy aroma, funky, tropical, a hint of dank, caramel, pale malts. Good flavor, lightly malty, some doughy and caramel aspects, a hint of spice, dank, tropical fruits. Tasty. Can from AJ’s Beer Warehouse. Aroma of tropical and citrus fruits with some rye spice. evergreen0199 (3420) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2017
Keg at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A hazy dark straw coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, peach on the nose. Tastes quite rich, hoppy, malty, orange, peach, mango, tropical fruit, some rye lurking in there too. Lovely rich tasting American IPA just how I like it. jbruner (4865) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 28, 2017
Pours a cloudy golden orange from the can with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of bright tropical and new world earthy zest from the hops, with a hint of zesty spice behind. Taste follows, with a bit more malt presence, but still nice juicy hoppiness. Very nice. A thick well laced white head on a straw body. Nose is punchy citrus fruit - orange and lemon. A solid and refreshing IPA leading with peaches, orange, lemon and grapefruit hops. The background malt is sweet and very smooth. Hints of rye spice and pineapple add solid supporting elements. phaleslu (10338) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 11, 2017
Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Notes of bready, crackery, and rye malts, citrus and muddled stone fruit, straw, and grass, much like the One Claw, but there’s a slight booze astringency that the One Claw didn’t have. The body is slightly bigger, as well. Modest carbonation. I think it’s a step down from the base, but not a significant one.
