Sample during the "Final Christmas Eve Adventures with the Foxes" on 12/24/2017. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall. ciocanelu (3112) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - DEC 27, 2017
Hazy bright yellow color with frothy off-white head. Aroma has spicy hops with some astringent pineapple notes. Taste follows with bittersweet hop flavors, spicy notes, pineapple and some sweet grapefruit. Medium plus body, soft carbonation. Overall it's a really nice IPA, smooth and easy drinking. cilvekspagaisu (85) - - DEC 15, 2017

12 oz can served in a Tervis at the Fall ASMF.
Pours slightly with a huge, durable n foamy head. Medium body.
Fruity aroma with faint spicy rye.

Mildly bitter finish. sinfull (1846) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 4, 2017
Clear , amber color. Nice, white head. Pine, citrus and malt in aroma. Sweet beginning quickly changes to hoppy and bitter taste. Solid and balanced.

MartinT, this is beer, not redecorating a loft. Oofah! Lighten up!
12 ounce can. Hazy honey gold color. Large rocky white head. Nice lacing. Fruity, citrusy malt nose. Bittersweet, two week old orange juice flavor (not in a bad way). Tropical fruit hops in middle. Warming alcohol in finish, along with pink grapefruit notes. Nice balance of malt and hops. Lacing reminiscent of a Siberian tiger's stripes at a German Biergarten in downtown Milwaukee in the middle of a heatwave in April.

My Bottom Line:
Floral hops ride sweetish malt and prickly bubbles into this characterful Rye IPA’s peppery finish.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A stable foam cover sits atop the misty golden shine.
-Tropical fruit angles are felt.
-Drinkability is rather high for the style.
-The finish isn’t overly bitter, which I appreciate.
-Flavor profile is cleanly executed.
