This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

A not very carbonated hazy yellow pour. Slight white head that falls quickly, after forcefully producing it. No lacing. A malty lemony aroma. Some notes of yeast. Lemony, perfume flavor. Yeast. Slight banana. Not bad. A bit bitter, but more sweet.

Plenty good wit. Finish just falls off a little for me and lacks that white pepper snap finish.

hershiser2 (3591) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 1, 2017
On tap at Cole's in Buffalo. Pours hazy golden not a huge aroma. Flavor is interesting combination of almost winter spices into a wit. A Little hose water, a hint of cinnamon, a spattering of heat perhaps? This is nice.

Can. Hazy golden medium off white head. Mild aroma of clove and spice and citrus. Medium sweetness. Medium-light body, tingly carbonation feel, lingering spice and fruit. Pretty good overall.

355ml can. Cloudy golden colour with a small white head, thin lacing. Spicy aroma - coriander, ginger, lemongrass, peppery, citrus. Taste has a light spiciness, coriander, ginger and particularly lemongrass complement the citrus peel and wheat malt well. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Really nice, quite underrated I feel.

spacecube (1748) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2017
Can, pours pale gold with a light haze. Aroma is light honey and caramel malts, coriander, lemon, a touch herbal. Body is light, carbonation is soft. Finish is dry, and a little spice.

12oz can. Pours hazy yellow with a full frothy white head. Citrus and yeast nose followed by flavors of lemongrass, ginger, bright hops, light funk. Medium fizzy carbonation. Fresh finish with some lingering hops. Not that the name is any clue, but this is an excellent pairing with Thai food.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Poured from a 12 OZ can into a tulip glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. The appearance is a mildly murky gold color with a small white head. The aroma is lemongrass, citrus and some ginger. The taste is ginger, wheat and some citra hops.

szymonskc (996) - Skórcz, POLAND - JUN 12, 2017
Zapach mało intensywny, zioła, trawa cytrynowa, imbir. Kolor słomkowy, opalizujące. Piana średnio obfita, drobna, szybko znika. W smaku lekka słodycz, niska pełnia, słód, zioła, pieprz, imbir, trawa, kwiaty, cytrusy. Goryczka niska, wysycenie średnie.
